Statement of faith

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God. The Bible is our standard and instruction manual for this life now. This book is to be studied by all Christians with prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit of God for clarity and direction.

According to (2 Timothy 3:16), ALL scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for:

Doctrine: What’s right

Reproof: What’s wrong

Correction: How to get right

Instruction in Righteousness: How to stay right

We believe in the Trinity. The Godhead consists of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are one and eternally co-exist. Not three separate gods but One God, three distinct Persons.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He is God manifest in the flesh. (John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:6-8)

We believe in His virgin birth. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-23)

We believe in His sinless life and Atoning Death for the sins of the world. (Romans 5:6-10; 1 Timothy 2:3-6)

We believe in His bodily resurrection. (Luke 24:37-40)

We believe in His Ascension into Heaven where He ever lives to make intercession for the saints. (Acts 1:9-11)

We believe in His pre-millennial return for the Church, the dead and living, in the Rapture before the Tribulation period. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

We believe in His Second Coming at the end of the Tribulation period, to set up the Millennial Kingdom. (Revelation 20:6-7)

We believe in the Divinity of the Holy Spirit as a member of the Godhead. He is the Spirit of Truth and the Gift of the Father. (Acts 1:4-5)

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all those who trust in Christ as Savior. (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19)

We believe in the Baptism with the Holy Spirit for the empowering of the believer to be a witness unto Christ until He returns; the initial evidence of this Baptism is tongues. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; Acts 8:12-16; Acts 10:44; Acts 19:1-6)

We believe that all men are born sinful and in need of Repentance and the Salvation that only comes through Christ Jesus. (Romans 5:12)

Water Baptism (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38)

Communion/Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:24-25)

Life begins in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5; Galatians 1:15)

Marriage is between a man and a woman and is intended to be for life. (Matthew 19:4-6)

Heaven for the believer

Hell for the unbeliever

(Both are eternal)
