This sermon explores how God’s promises empower believers to live beyond mere survival or simply waiting for heaven. From 2 Peter 1:2–4, we see that through the knowledge of Christ and His “exceeding great and precious promises,” believers are invited to partake in the divine nature and live a higher quality of life now. Connecting this with 1 Peter 3:4, the message emphasizes the importance of the “hidden man of the heart”—the born-again spirit within every believer. As followers of Christ, we must allow the inner man, renewed by God, to rule over our thoughts, words, and actions so that the life of Christ can be manifested through us in this present world.
