The Living Word Ministries & Outreach, Inc had humble beginnings, having started in a house in November of 1995 by Pastor Donnie Erwin.  Scott Adams has led the ministry since 1997 after Pastor Donnie's passing. Since that time, Pastor Scott has been on a quest to know God more intimately and to teach the Body of Christ who they are and what is available to them in Christ. His motivation comes from Hosea 4:6, that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Having moved from the house it originally began in, the ministry had a brief stay in a local storefront, then Pastor Scott's barn before landing in its current location on Zoar Road. In  2013, God made available this 22,000 square foot building and 11 acres of land on a main highway in Chesterfield, SC, and to the glory of God, it was paid off in 2015.

Having not despised small beginnings, we have seen this ministry not only grow in size but in love and in power of the Holy Spirit. With willing and obedient hearts, we look forward to the great plans God has prepared for this ministry in transforming lives and bringing many into the Kingdom of God. Continuing to hold fast to the Holy Spirit -inspired theme of this ministry that The Word of God is Alive (Hebrews 4:12) we diligently seek to serve the Lord by empowering people with the Word of God!
