Dignity, Rebellion, and Redemption

Every person longs to know they are seen, valued, and loved. In Psalm 8, the psalmist asks, "What is mankind that You are mindful of them?"—a question that reminds us of the incredible dignity God has given every human being as His image-bearers. Yet Scripture also tells the story of our rebellion, how sin has distorted that dignity and broken our relationships with God and one another. Through the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10, we see the compassionate heart of God, who calls us to love our neighbors with mercy and grace. Most importantly, we see the hope of redemption in Jesus Christ, who restores what sin has broken and invites us to live as people transformed by His love.
